MISSION
Wave of Hope is an independent, non-profit student fundraising campaign, established for the solitary purpose of rebuilding schools and houses in Sri Lanka that were affected by the devastating Tsunami.

OBJECTIVE
The campaign was started by a group of Sri Lankan students studying in the Greater Washington Area who was united for the purpose of supporting the victims of the Tsunami. The primary goal of the campaign is to raise a minimum of $20,000 - approximately Rs. 2 million, to re-build houses and schools in the worst affected areas in Sri Lanka.

All the proceeds from the campaign will be distributed to selected non-profit organizations in Sri Lanka , which have taken the authority from the Sri Lankan Government to re-construct houses and schools in the affected areas.
